How to Use the MakerSpace Facilities and Services: Virtual Reality

Borrowing Method: Borrow at the Learning Garden Help Desk on a first come first served basis from 9 am to 5 pm between Monday to Friday. The loan period is 3 days (Overdue Fine: HK$10 per day)

  1.  First-time users MUST undertake a basic training. (Exception For the usage of the VR Headset)
  2. There is no charge to use VR equipment provided by the MakerSpace. Users are responsible for any damages of the furniture and equipment in the MakerSpace.
  3. Unless otherwise approved by the University Librarian, the equipment and facilities are used by eligible users for educational and non-commercial purposes ONLY.

VIVE Focus 3

 

Description: An all-in-one virtual reality head-mounted display which does not need a computer to play with 

Eligible Users: CUHK students and staff

Borrowing Method: First Come, first served.

HTC Vive Pro

Description: A virtual reality head-mounted display (HMD)

Eligible Users: CUHK students and staff

Borrowing Method: First Come first served.
