CUHK Data Hack: Rundown

CUHK Data Hack 2023 was held between 18:00 on 17 Feb (Fri) to 19:30 on 19 Feb (Sun) in face-to-face mode.

Day 1 - 17 February 2023 (Friday)

Opening and Team Formation (18:00 - 21:00)

The Opening will be held face-to-face in UGA of InnoPort:

Venue: UGA, InnoPort, Inter-University Hall

18:00 – 18:30 Registration: in person 
18:30 – 19:00 Introduction & Briefing
19:00 – 21:00 Team Formation

Participants are required to join the opening in InnoPort.  Individual participants must join the Team Formation session.

Day 2 - 18 February 2023 (Saturday)

Hackathon!

  • For participants who want to work on campus, 
    • UGB of InnoPort, Inter-University Hall will be open from 9 am to 11 pm 
    • Learning Garden and MakerSpace, LG/F, University Library will be open 24 hours
  • Light refreshment will be available in both locations (while stock lasts)

  • All the teams should arrange to meet your mentor by any means.  

Day 3 - 19 February 2023 (Sunday)

Final Presentation (16:00 - 19:30)

The Final Presentation will be held in UGA, InnoPort.  Participants may use UGB, 2A & 2B of Innoport from 09:00 for on-site discussion:

up to 15:30 Preparation for Project Presentation
  • UGB, 2A & 2B opens from 09:00
  • Light refreshment will be provided in UGB, InnoPort
  • Light sandwiches will be provided to participants who work in InnoPort on that day during lunch time
15:30 - 16:00 Get ready for the Final Presentation
16:00 - 19:30 Final presentation & Award Ceremony
