ReadingList: 04 View and annotating citations

Steps

In this session, you will see how to add Course Reserves; how to share notes with the Library and students; and how to check citation availability.

To place an item in Course Reserves, click item title for more details > Go to "Add tag" > Select  2 hours / 4 hours / 1 day / 3 days / 7 days  and select library location for the citation.

To share a note with students, click item title for more details > Add note under "Note for students:"

OR

Click "Full details" or "Edit item" from item record > Select "Item actions" tag > Go to "Information for students" session > Add note for students

Check the availability of citation under the title.

"Available at": Physical location of the item.

"View online" /  "Read article": Electronic version is available for viewing online.

For example, the item listed on the right has both electronic and physical formats, and the physical item is located at University Library with Call No: WY16.AA1 B53 2016.

You may check "Hide from students" to hide the citation if needed. A hidden Hidden icon icon appears next to the item thumbnail.
