Creative Commons (CC): Find CC Materials

CC Search is a tool that provides searching images under open Creative Commons licenses or in the public domain. CC Search will later be expanded to include other material types.

• Enter your search term and press enter to retrieve a list of results
• Click on the “Licenses” drop-down menu and choose the option fits your need

You can find videos on Youtube under Creative Commons licenses by applying a filter.

• Click onn “FILTER” to see a list of options
• Click on “Creative Commons”

You can find resources in Google under Creative Commons licenses by using the advanced search.

• Enter your search term and press enter to retrieve a list of results
• Click on “Settings” and then “Advanced search”

• Scroll down to the bottom of the page and find the “Usage rights” option. Choose the option which is suitable for your need, and click the “Advanced search” button to complete the search.
