RDM at CUHK

CUHK has established a Committee on Research Data Management under the Research Committee of the University. The Committee on RDM is responsible for:

  • Proposing to the Research Committee policies, guidelines and best practices for RDM;​
  • Making recommendations on the development and implementation of RDM infrastructure, resources, training, and support services at the University;​
  • Assisting the Research Committee in overseeing the implementation of the relevant RDM project(s);​
  • Advising on and facilitating researchers’ compliance with funders’ and publishers’ requirements on RDM and open data / data sharing

Guidelines on RDM at CUHK

The CUHK has prepared the Guidelines on Research Data Management to provide general guidance and support for researchers and students in managing, preserving, and sharing current or future research data. The following topics are covered in the Guidelines:

CUHK has provided a full scope of research data service to our community They include:​

    • Tool for creating data management plans​
  3. CUHK Research Data Repository
    • University’s research data repository for CUHK members to deposit, publish, and curate their research data outputs and for the worldwide to discover, access, and reuse the data​
  4. RDM Trainings
    • Open workshops for all CUHK members​
    • Improving Postgraduate Learning courses for postgraduate students​
    • Customized seminars for faculties or departments​
    • E-learning module on RDM​
