Digital Scholarship Lab (Floor Plan, VR Tour) on the G/F of the University Library aims at providing a cutting-edge space for supporting digital scholarship research. Python and R are installed on the high-performance PCs & iMacs at the Lab.
The Lab consists of a Visualisation Room and a Seminar Room. The Visualisation Room provides a huge digital display wall and a 80-inch touch-screen interactive whiteboard for research data visualisation and facilitates digital scholarship research. The Seminar Room provides high-performance computer workstations equipped with specialist software.

Located on the lower ground floor of the University Library(Floor plan, VR Tour), the Learning Garden is an inspiring and welcoming place where students can discover, create, and collaborate with peers. It is a technology-rich learning environment and well equipped with computer workstations consisting of both Mac and PC computers, as well as high-performance multimedia workstations designed for film editing and graphic design.
To move forward, a MakerSpace in the Learning Garden is there to support creative learning, innovation and collaboration! It includes the following services:
