Many funders and journals now require a Data Management Plan (DMP). A DMP is a digital document in which you describe what data you will collect during your research project, how you are going to store and manage the data during the project, and what will happen to the data after the project is finished. A Data Management Plan (DMP) tool e.g. DMPTool can be used for this purpose.
DMPTool is an online tool developed by the University of California Curation Center. This tool helps you to develop your own data management plan (DMP) with template and guidance. You can save and come back anytime to your plan, and you can export your plan in Microsoft Word format for further editing.
