Temporary Closure of Learning Garden

As a library initiative to support the University-wide themes on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Learning Garden, a popular 24/7 space for students, has been conducting a refurbishment project to create the first MakerSpace for the CUHK community. The Learning Garden will be closed from May 12, 7 pm to September 1, 2019 for the Phase II refurbishment project.

The retrieval service for the audio-visual materials and A Class books, which are housed in the Learning Garden, will be provided as soon as possible during the renovation.

The following services and facilities will be affected during this period of time:

• Kindle E-book readers, chargers, laptop computers, please borrow and return them at the HelpDesk on the G/F.

• 3D Printing and Scanning Services: please send your 3D printing and scanning requests to us by email: liblc@lib.cuhk.edu.hk

• Bubble Group Study Rooms, e-charger station and vending machines are not accessible.

For 24-hour study facilities, the Learning Commons at the Wu Ho Man Yuen (WMY) Building will remain open for all CUHK students and staff. Please contact us by phone 3943 9730 or by email liblc@lib.cuhk.edu.hk for enquiries.
