Most of the Library resources require user authentication via CUHK Login, e.g. to logon to library PCs, make room bookings, renew books, have off-campus access to e-resources, etc.

For LLB past examination papers, electronic version is accessible via Exam Papers.

For postgraduate past examination papers (JD and LLM), electronic version is accessible via the Blackboard Learn (only available to those who can access the Postgraduate Law Student E-Common Room). Print version is available at the Legal Resources Centre, Law Library Help Desk and UL Reserve Section on 2 hour loan.

There is no past examination paper for PCLL.

 

Inter-Branch Book Delivery enables CUHK staff and students to make a request via LibrarySearch to transfer a circulating book, except for Course Reserves, from the holding library to the Legal Resources Centre for borrowing.

 

The books are on short loan at the Legal Resources Centre. There is no reserve and no renewal for books on short loan at the Legal Resources Centre and other CUHK Libraries.

You can refer to the Chinese University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law Legal Citation Style Guide. It provides citation style for commonly-used legal resources such as how to cite cases, legislation, books, journal articles or Internet resources, etc. It also includes a list of further readings at the end of the guide.

Print version is available both at the Lee Quo Wei Law Library and the Legal Resources Centre.

 

The latest issue of Hong Kong Lawyer is available electronically at the Hong Kong Lawyer website (http://www.hk-lawyer.org/en/index.asp). The years available on this website are from November 2012 to current. The Lee Quo Wei Law Library and Legal Resources Centre also have the latest issue of Hong Kong Lawyer in print copy.

Issues from September 2008 to current are available electronically in Westlaw Asia, and Hong Kong Journals Online of the University of Hong Kong Libraries also provides the free access to issues from 1993 to 2000.

 

The non-K class books are located on 3/F of the Lee Quo Wei Law Library.

 

You can enroll the online course LIB 105 Library Research Skills in Law. You will learn how to search cases, legislation and journal articles in this online course.
